I just can't wait any longer to post ha ha. I have all the parts to do the lift on the liberty! Specs: 2005 liberty 4x4 limited 2.8l crd 108k on the clock. We bought it a little over 6 months ago with 104k on it. Bone stock. So far if added led interior lighting and tinted windows. But over the last 3 months I've been accumulating parts to do a 3 inch lift. I'm going as high as I can without have to replace the a arms. It'll be fine until I inherit it as my dd when my wife wants a new car in a couple years. That's the plan at least. In the garage I have an old man emu 2" lift with the heavy duty rated springs, struts and shocks. Extra rear isolators, and rustys strut plate spacers for the front. Also got the Teraflex front bump stops. I'm going to use hockey pucks as the rear bump stops.. It's legit trust me, google it ha ha. I also picked up a set of moab rims off of a tj rubicon that were pretty banged up. That will be my first set of pics to share, I'm putting the lift in next weekend, things are just a bit too busy for thanksgiving. I'm going to try to get the tires put on tomorrow, Black Friday deal maybe? I have an out the door price already, we will see if they can do better ha ha. Here's the kj as is: Wheels: Before: During: After: Here are the lift parts, I'm going to put the strut assemblies together tomorrow. It should sit like this when all is done next week. I just ordered some cheap cross bars for the roof, I'm going to borrow a buddies Thule pod for our trip down to Utah at Christmas see how I like it. I'm browsing cl for a safari basket on a daily basis ha ha. I also have some lighting plans, possibly a low profile light bar on the front. I'm also going to fab up front receivers for my truck and the jeep so I can switch the winch back and forth depending on which rig we decide to take out over the passes or when it snows. my favorite liberty body. cant wait to see it finished. saw a kickass grand Cherokee the other day with some offset rims and a leveling kit. told my girlfriend that's what she needs to do to hers. not happening lol.
So my neighborhoods been going to shat lately and the wife and I have been trying to get out of here, but we decided we would just join the trashy people instead, step 1: car on stands in the driveway. I got the tires mounted on the rims today. I had to take the stockers in too to have the tpms sensors swapped, I wasn't paying $250 for new ones and I didn't want a tire pressure light on all the time. I couldnt help myself, I had to mount them to see how they looked. Here's a night time teaser, I'll take more pics tomorrow in the light before I take them back off, they scrub something fierce. I'll also snap another one from the same angle with the stockers back on it for better reference. Sent from My Porcelain Throne using Tapatalk
