Instead of bedlining the grille surround I'd PTM it instead. The 1st thing that comes to mind for me when I see someone with a black grille surround on a truck that's something other then black is they haven't painted the surround they must have just replaced.
Save $50? I'm Savin $150 for the lift outta my checks after I save for the tag. After I get the lift I'm not putting it on anyway I still will gotta wait for som wheels. But over time I'm gonna do 3 1/2 inch spindles, 3 1/2 inch coils, 4 inch blocks, and 1 3/4 inch shackle lift (leaf spring).
How do I get the chrome off it's peeling on the passenger side. If I can't get the chrome off I'll get a new grille from the scrap yard.
That's $50 dollars closer to getting that truck looking good that the rockers and the lights won't do.
I'm gonna try to get a loan cause I gotta build credit and I'll use that loan for the lift and all that. And all the lift will do is allow me to put a tire 1 inch bigger in the front. I wanna get wheels first they add a look when all the lift will do is allow me to put an inch bigger tire on and have a bigger gap between the tire and fender. I'm thinking of taking a rear tire and seeing if the tire shop will put em in the front to see if they will fit without a lift. Not trying to argue but I don't see the point in a lift right now knowing I will only have 1 inch bigger tires in the front. I really don't have a need for a inch bigger tire at the moment. The tires in the front do great for turning and my rear tires pull great. Now if I get wide wheels I'll get the lift. Sorry but I think its smarter to spend $500 on a tag then to waste it on a lift. Then I also gotta pay someone to put it on cause I just have a hilift jack.
same here, came out good on the driver side...the passenger side cracked, sanded it down but it still looks like shat...it doest bother me much cause the are only temporary til I can afford black housings
