Got my parts to fix my truck after an unfortunate meeting with a pole. Anyone got some info on swapping a bedside?

ive only taken the whole bed off before, never just one side. with that i took the rear bumper off..removed the tail light and taped over the brake and reverse bulb just to not scratch them and removed the fill neck. if anything you can just loosen the bolts that hold that section on and move it around before yanking it off just to see if anything is connected to it. the passenger side shouldnt have anything on it

styleside beds are 1 piece so they're spot welded together which is why i couldn't get a bedside at a junkyard for my last truck unless they cut it off which they wouldn't... flareside and step side beds are 3 piece so you can unbolt the bedsides without cutting

Not sure, I had the passenger side of my bed replaced after backing into my mother in law's car that I'd forgotten was in my driveway one morning.

I know the Ford body shop I took it to got my truck late on a Tuesday afternoon, and I had it back on Friday afternoon, so there must not be too much to it. It only took them 2 days to replace, paint and reassemble.

Thanks guys. Sadly the panel wasn't in the best shape after I got it cleaned up and I need to go get it painted first.

They just bolt on. Remove bed cap and tail light and you will see the bolts. There's also bolts around wheel well and a couple of bed braces underneath.
