    Thanks !!

ok so here is what i have of last night. I will get better pics when i get home and there is day light.

We got an incredibly late start around 9pm or so and had to make an unexpected drive to Walmart which delayed the process even more.

    Before
    [IMG]

Went ahead and had my friend unbolt the clamp right in front of the muffler

I forgot to take pics of this but we also unbolted the hangers to get the stock muffler off once we did that it just came down.

Then we jacked the truck up by my trailer hitch to give the pipe enough room to go over the axle and slide out (didnt take pics of this either). Once the whole piece was out i saw how incredibly over-sized it is.

And how small the roush is

Once the muffler was out i undid the coupling to get the other piece of piping out bc it needed to be cut.

There were directions on the roush website that said to cut the pipe 7 inches so i measured, taped, and my friend cut it. (after a trip to Walmart bc he thought he had the proper tools and didnt.)

Now that it was cut we just put everything back in its place and put the roush muffler in. The tips were last and a real pain in the butt to keep them aligned and even while tightening them down. They also had to be torqued down to 32-34 ft/lbs

They sit uneven and i tried to straighten it out with no luck. You can only tell the back one sags a bit from this angle (but its still driving me crazy knowing its not straight).

and now i finally have exhaust !

    Congrats!

You would think that as much as the exhaust cost for no more material than is there, everything would be 100% dead nuts perfect. I didn't realize that the Roush system had clamp on tips. My Magnaflow system is welded.

    How does it sound?

    Thanks :)

The tips really were a pain in the butt. There were 4 hands being used to put them on. I lined them up the way i wanted them while my friend tightened them. Every turn of the socket wrench it would cause it to move i wish they were welded on lol

It sounds amazing! its not obnoxiously loud at idle and does not cause alot of cabin drone (almost none) but once you step on the gas its loud. Its exactly what i wanted.

I took video last night from my phone im going to upload it and see how it sounds through computer speakers bc the playback on my iPhone makes it sound terrible.

If you can't get the tips positioned like you want them with the clamps, run it by an exhaust shop and let them weld them in position for you.

Im going to see if my dads friend can do it. He is a very experienced welder but on the off chance he cant ill take it to a shop. It drives me crazy that the back tip hangs so low.

And here is the video! I will get one in the cab as soon as i can.
