    I have a 2010 F150 automatic 4 X 4
I would like to tow behind my motorhome on a tow dolly. Should I just disconnect the drive shaft to tow?

Yes. And make sure the transfer case is in neutral when towing.

I know this tread is old but,,, if you have something big enough to tow the 150, why wouldn't you buy a trailer to put your 150 on? No disabling anything and your not putting miles on the axle of the truck

Probably because depending on the size of his motorhome adding a fullsize car trailer could push him into CDL requirements
