nah I wont do a bed cage I wanna keep my full bed. yes you dont have to hack it up much but I haul too much to make it a pain with a cage. later in life ill buy a screw and make it have full long travel and roll cage and bed cage.
idk what the difference is but if youre going to do it, get the LT kit if you are really going to jump it, run it in the desert in the whoops and stuff and actually use it as a prerunner. but if you are gunna be a poser and not jump it then keep what you got or get the mid travel.
since I wont have a cage I wont be hittin the desert much, but for what I do do it would be better than the fabtech. around town I take the long way so I can hit the big bumps..which usually have a ramp so I can jump. very easily I can get all 4 off the ground. I dont go crawling its hard enough goin over a little way 8in tall...but I still think its cuz of crappy tires.
ok, but you were saying earlier that you wanted to build up another truck. why not just build up this truck and opt for the LT kit now and just build it from there and get another vehicle once you make the decision to have a dedicated prerunner, that way you will be almost complete till you can get a cage put in.
