@ darth bama, wouldnt let me quote u kept saying my message was 3 characters to short, i can tell every time its an overlay even from a distance, atleast the ones round here you can see the grill right behind it and it looks trashy to me whene thats just chilling behind it
Meh whatev, I can't see mine unless I'm up on the grille within a few inches. Like I stated earlier, if you stick the overlay on over a faded or factory colored grille, you're going to see the factory grille every time. This is why you see overlays and can clearly see they're overlays. My grille is a bar style grille that I painted flat black that honestly you can't see. Whatever, it's pointless to carry on about it. Tyler is in the market for the other kind anyway. Ya bunch of fuggin critics...
Man, I'm telling ya! I'd just go with the other one for the price dude. If you can get a regular billet for under $50 I'd jump on it. I paid $120 for the lower grille in the valance (which isn't an overlay), so $50 is a killer deal for the upper grille.
I had both even on my old factory valance too. Looks more complete IMO. The reasminer lower grille was so much is from the fact it was for a Harley F150 back a few years ago. All the stuff for the 97-03's has gotten cheaper now.
