That's the same as here in Ga. I'm thinking that's the standard throughout the entire Southeast, but not sure. Most of the time depending on the if the cops a dick or not 20% is fine. My trucks 20% all way around and so is the wife's Altima and we don't get hassled. Not to rant, but the whole window tint law is bullshit. I understand point of it being for the safety of officers and what not, but it's a fuggin racket is all it is now. A way to pull in revenue.
Being around an Army post I have leverage. Cause if I get pulled over for it, i can point out 90 others driving past me that are the same as me.. i'd win for 4x4 profiling
Same here. I'd like it to be darker, but I'm not down with the hassle to be honest. My buddy has 5% all way around including the factory tinted windows and he also has 35% on the entire windshield and the shits super dark. He's been ticketed a couple of times too.
My white 03 screw had 5% all the way around and I loved it. I've got to get my to front side windows darker soon on the 05 ...they 35% right now
yeah no one really messes with my truck. im going to get a strip to go along the top of the windshield eventually
That's such bullshit man! They should really allow 35% in your state dude. It's not like you can't see through the chit. I hate that for ya dude, seriously. I couldn't live without my tinted windows!
