Blowing Fuse

    Haha ok ok.... I know I got a short tied in with my map lights, I'm getting new wire and redoing it tonight.

    Got her sorted out. Had the wire rub against one of the A-pillar bolts. Snipped that out, respliced, and wrapped up with some wire loom. Good.To.Go!

    Do not up the size of the fuse. you could end up cuasing more damage that way, you should always replace a fuse with the properly rated fuse. glad you found the problem though, short to ground can cause lots of problems.

    I always suggest the add a fuse or a seperate fuse box for all the accessories.

    I added inline fuses to my lights and mirrors, but since puddle lamps came factory tied into maps, I figure I'm ok.

    Vano - how do you use a voltmeter to determine the electrical draw of something?
