Timesert is a metal insert that you thread into the existing spark plug hole that has more threads than stock to ensure no spark plug blowout.

Heads are in the machine shop until monday. OBX longtubes are ordered. Everything should be close to back together by next weekend. I still need to chop my existing exhaust off, cats and everything, so its ready for my new exhaust. I have tips and mufflers already. When the heads are done ive got to paint them still but all the other painting is done..

Excited to run open headers down to the muffler shop :)

    UPDATE!

Truck is getting real close to running again. Heads are on, got them resurfaced .008" so should add a lil HP. No cams, also did a little painting. Tried to order my headers from 2 different places and they are out of stock and on backorder for 3-4 weeks!! Im gonna run around town today and try to find a shop that can find them. I might just put the manifolds back on and be obnoxious for a little while until the headers arrive (my exhaust is getting cut off today, cats and all).

No pics until the finished project. Sorry guys.

    Shes aliveeeeee

My friend drove it over to my house today. He told me he had to work, but ended up finishin up my truck while i was sleeping (i work overnights). Currently running open manifolds lol, need to put back in the inner fenders, fender flares, and other odds and ends.

Now i really want my headers so i can actually drive the thing. i drove it to the car wash and could barely hear anything except my truck. :peace:
