How do you feel on body lifts?

I've never been a huge fan but might be considering it to get a extra 2 inches in the front and just gonna block the rear!!

Does anyone have one on there SD?

Body lifts are bad. Why don't you just get some springs? Unless you're just going to use it as a pavement queen...

A body lift on trucks our size is out of the norm. Im not sure if im mis-understanding your post, but if you do a BA, youd have a 3 inch lift over the entire truck, not just the front. unless you are talking 3 inches over all plus more in the rear with blocks.

Shackles and leafs will be your best bet, since you already have a leveling kit if you lift the front anymore youll have to extend a few other things, 3.5 inches is the highest you can go with just leafs and shocks. If you want more, my suggestion would be a 4 inch front kit, with either a 350 spring upgrade in the rear + shackles, or rear lift springs.

i would not do a body lift on a SD. its easier to just do shackles or add a leafs in the rear with new leaf packs up front.

I actually have a 4 inch lift I want 2 more inches to get 37's!! What's the cheapest way to do that? I think i can get some used springs for around $200 and the BL is about $500 and the kit to cover gaps are another $100

You can't tuck 37s with a 4" lift? How much more room do you need?

I'd imagine a 4" lift plus a level kit in the front would let you get away with it.
