My brake lights won't turn off. I tried to go under my dash and turn off the switch but they are still on. The last time this happened they went off and I didn't have to fiddle with anything.

Is there anything else I can do or do I have to leave them on and let my battery die. :(

    You could unhook your battery

^2 that or you could always unhook the actual lights...any idea of why it does that? Maby the little switch thats connnected to the brake pedal is stuck which is prolly the most probable cause. I hope its an easy fix

That's a easy fix, and usually in stock.

Pull up on the brake pedal, if the lights go off it's def' the switch.
Cheap switches sell more repair parts, planned obsolescence.
My '74 Fonehundred had done this twice since 1993 and I made a custom return spring for the brake pedal.

This seems like a common defect anymore, not specific to Ford. I see way too many cars around anymore that either their brake lights are always on, or they never light up.
