Ok this is weird. did the booster check as described and is is functioning fine.

But.... I had removed my a/c clutch relay (around the time it started acting up) because (long story short) I have a blockage or something so i cannot read the pressure on the a/c and I am a little low on refrigerant. sooooo, my clutch continuously engages and disengages as it builds up and bleeds off while my heater is running on defrost. I haven't added more refrigerant because I can't tell how much I'm adding. I pulled the relay #204 (since its winter) to stop the abuse on the a/c clutch.

Now the weirdness.... I put the relay back in (because its literally the only thing I've done in over two weeks to that truck) and now the brakes are back to pre-problem. Why would the A/C relay have any effect on the brake boosters operation ??

    Does seem very strange.
Maybe it's an electrical issue in the ABS?

I know, That's what I'm sayin' ! and it was an instant fix so it had to have been the problem. I don't know !?! :surrender:

i cant really see how the two systems would cross other than possible vacuum issue like nick said? im not sure.

I was just guessing on the vacuum. It's the only thing I could think of at the moment.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
are you sure that relay is JUST for the ac? i know these relays can carry the load from multiple systems sometimes.

No, I'm only going by the owners manual diagram. I don't have any other reference material. Either way its stilll odd how any electrical relay would affect the power assist unless the relay affected what ever the booster is getting its vacuum from ??
