Broken fuel pump driver module pics

    So i posted that my fuel pump driver module finally went after starting to go months ago.Here are some pics.I went to remove it and the darn thing just fell apart into halves on me.

    I advise you all to look at yours and see if yours is starting to go and to replace it sooner than later.If you do not,you will be in a world of hurt since trying to find the part is dam near impossible and on national back order till may.I might have found one.Just waiting for the guy to get back to me.N all the mudders on here who see this with 04-08's take my advise and just get the replacement.You will be happy you did.

    I've heard and read about a lot of nitemares with people's fuel pump's going out when they are away from home.

    This is from another forum.. but still applies

    So I guess you can grab one from a F250 5.4L just may have to change some things.

    I'm afraid to check mine. I may do it in a few weeks when it finally warms up for good!


    The part numbers are:

    4L3Z-9D370-A

    Which is the whole kit, including the new mounting bolts. I think most people are quoted $162.50 for the whole kit

    Hmm i never thot of using one from a 250/5.4 and just changing around the mounting bolts.Will have to look into that.Ya take a look at yours as soon as you have time man.Never know when it might go.N forgot the mounting kit,i can mock up something on my own if it turns out to be cheaper than the one for the 150.

    pics on where this module is located on the trucks for all of us noobs that have never heard of this? or is this just another 5.4 deal and us lil 4.6 don't have to worry?

    I'm not sure if its only for the 5.4's...

    I know the issue is on 04 +

    It is right above your spare tire. You will have to drop your spare to see it.

    i'd have to concur w/ you on that its NOT on the 4.6L. I just dropped my spare last weekend to install a new 7pin and nothing was there. Thanks!

    You sure about not having one?My friends 4.6 has one and his was also cracked in half.I would double check man.Ya you got one Vano.Just texted my friend and his 4.6 has it.His is also a screw
