So I can't find the thread where someone was talking about a misfire but w/ no code after replacing one of their coil on packs w/ a BWD from Oreilly's. I also have 1 BWD on my truck from when I blew a COP. I too had a constant misfire, but it just sounded like an exhaust leak. After I dismantled my exhaust last week I still have that "leak" sound. So I pulled my BWD COP (it was 3rd back on passenger) and replaced it w/ a Motorcraft from the 1st cyl passenger. As I had both of them out I compared the two. The BWD is an INFERIOR product. The overall height is the same as the Motorcraft, but thats it. The stem is shorter on the BWD so it actually doesnt go ALL the way down to the plug, thus giving you that bad misfire sound w/ out throwing a code. I put the BWD in the front cyl and have ordered a Motorcraft from Rockauto already. I bet if the OP checked his BWD to a OEM there would be a difference as well. Just wanted to share that in case anyone else has this same issue.
