Got a 03 with a 6.0 the only thing that is being replaced is the water pump

Heat works fine no intake or fuel problems and I believe fords kinda blow bulbs too my dads headlight is out my reverse and brake lights have blown

 

So I guess I am the only person to notice brand new chevys coming out of the dealer with blown bulbs?
You will be replacing manifold studs before long in that 6.0 Oh and if its 4wd, the tansfer case will also need to be replaced soon.

 

Not too mention ALL chebby trucks will start knockin lol

Dont get me wrong, the ls can be a beast. I just prefer that my motor be quiet and not knock or tick all the damn time.

 

I don't want a new chevy I want a 05 down I've never had a problem with a chevy never knocked

But wit my ford Ive had to fix plugs, shifter cable, tranny, computer, gas pedal, hoses, bypass the heater core, oil pump, fuel injectors, egr, fuel pumps, fan clutch, idler pulley, and still gotta replace ignition coils, wires, belt alternator, and fix the 3 month old shifter cable

Also had to fix a few wires that caught on fire goin down the road

Also on my dads truck 95 f250 got a new tranny and needs to be fixed and the front drive shaft is coming out

I'm sure you guys had a egr problem and it's caused by the holes being plugged up on the throttle body saved my self some money by cleaning the throttle body

Oooooo and let's not forget the old balljoints had to waste $200 on em

I'm not trying to say **** ford chevy ftw I'm just pointing out the obvious you might be a ford fan but really fords have a lot of problems too they sure as hell aren't perfect

Yes chevy and dodge have problems too even some of the same problems

I just never had a big problem with a chevy I'm really not trying to piss you off here but if you don't see what I am saying here that you shouldn't drive a truck
