sux man, hope they pay to have it fixed for ya. I have NEVER been a fan of drive thru car washes just b/c of the abuse they put your ride through. Well couple years ago the local ford dealer put in a huge drive thru car wash on its lot and it has been a big hit to the new ford owners and everyone else. My dad takes his f150 there every time he comes in from the road(truck driver). I got a free wash coupon in the mail for my bday and decided to try it since never heard of it doin damage.........welll i get right in the middle of it and these upright spinning brushes are gettin closer and closer to my mirrors by now im freakin out. the driverside hits/brushes off it then i turn to the passenger and watch as it really makes contact....then it happened. The damn thing flipped in. I NEVER knew they folded in and i tried to fold em when i got the truck but it just felt like i was gonna break them so i just assumed they didnt fold lol. No damage done though and i wont ever go back either lol
wtf....that sucks man. i stopped going to those stupid things when the people would push one mirror in on one side and the other idiot would leave the other out so that when im done going through the wash its pushed all the way forward. plus auto car washes give you some nice swirl marks.
