In reference to a earlier thread I believe I have on here, my rear end sags down around a inch-1.5" from the front. Well after parking it on the level driveway I measured it again and it's actually just the drivers rear. Only 1 corner is considerably lower than the others. My question is what can cause that? The tire pressures are all within a couple pounds of each other and all suspension changes were done at the same time. I don't know if the shock could be going "bad" or if there's something else that can cause that. Any info would be great

Shocks don't affect ride height. More than likely your leafs are worn out, they were on my 97. Almost to the point of being flat. Since the gas tank is on the drivers side the extra weight is probably causing the sag over the years.

I guess it could be your leafs on that side. I have that problem sometimes, but it only happens because my shocks are hydraulic so they lag sometimes on getting back to normal if i've towed a heavy load or something.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
leaf pack. the cheapest is to get an AAL, but then you will be lifting the rear end. other is to find a donor truck at a pickApart and there ya go. does the sag side feel real "soft" compared to the other side?

Your leaf packs are going out. Time for some new ones! Might as well look for a 7700lb truck or toss an AAL while you're at it

Thanks guys, yea that all makes perfect sense. I guess i'll be getting new leafs in a month or so. Already going to get an add a leaf to bring the rear end up level. Would simply putting an aal on fix it? Being I rarely haul anything heavy. And the only thing I tow is a mower. Or do I in fact need to still just replace the whole deal? I don't mind doing it if necessary
