cd player install

    i got a new sony cd player and im wanting to install it myself so i went to walmart to buy a wiring harness adapter. i got the one that was listed for my 2002 f150 but only one of the plugs on the adapter fit my factory plugs. has anybody else ever ran into this problem?

    yup, u only use the big square plug. the other one is not used.

    ok thanks man. it had me really confused as the one plug would plug into the adapter but there wasnt a place for the second plug

    second plug is for cd changer. if ur truck doesn't have it, then the plug isn't used.

    yea me 2. i got a factory cd changer but its not gonna be used anymore since im puttin in an aftermarket sony unit so i guess i dont need to worry about that plug then and just leave it unplugged

    Did you decide to keep the f150 or you still trying to sell it and get a diesel?

    i decided to keep it. i just ordered 6000k hid high/low beam headlights and im about to order 6000k hid foglights to match the headlights
