I know the manual says something like change every 75k or something crazy but i change mine every 15-20k. no harm ever came in putting fresh oil where oil is needed. Remove bolts to take off cover. Drain. Apply Gasket maker (see pic) and rebolt cover w/in 5 MIN! Remove fill plug on opposite side of diff, drivers side. Requires 3/8" rachet and extention. Takes 2.5 bottles to fill. Or fill until it just starts to seap out of the fill hole. Tighten down and you're good to go. When you have the cover off, check for shavings. inspect the teeth for chips. shavings will collect in 2 places: a small valley at the bottom front lip of the diff and in the far back (my finger is pointing to that back area). Mobil 1 75w90 LS. NO ADDITIVE NEEDED
yea i should probably do mine, i dont think its ever been changed, maybe i'll do a locker and change the seals too haha
