Check Gage light lit solid with tow haul flashing... Wtf

    Brought my 2004 f350 to my local ford dealer to check fuel Gage that would intermittently drop to empty. They could not replicate the problem. Shortly after my check Gage light began to pop on solid and the tow/haul light would flash. The trans temp Gage pins to cold and the battery light pops on sometimes flashes. I was told the instrument cluster is failing by the dealer. Trans seems to sift hard or not shift at all. Then seems to act fine again. I can't imagine the clusters failing would cause that.

    Does anyone have any ideas? Some forums that I checked seemed to have many people having this problem but their wasn't any real solutions posted. Please help.

    I haven't heard of that cluster problem before.

    I don't know what a troll is but I will first thing tomorrow post a pic. I read one post on a site that I would have to drop the transmission pan?!? I read the term "troll" on vw vortex and didn't understand what it meant.
