Well I drove an hour to go look at that ranger. The guy talked about how great shape it was in, and it wasn't. There was some rust, but no rust holes. It was still in good shape for something that old here in Michigan, so I offered 2k. He said no, he can't go that low. Had it listed on craigslist for 2495. So I offered $2300 and it still wouldn't take it, so I said see ya and left.
Damn, hate to hear it didn't work out for you. Just wasn't meant to be. Who knows what might come along now, it may turn out for the better.
It was at a small dealer, but the guy called me today and was like "i talked with the wife and she said I should give it to you for $2300 so if you want it still you can have it" I just told him I'll think about it and get back to you later. I'm gonna call him back and tell him I was there yesterday with the cash and he wasted 2 hours of my time so I'll pass.
