Ha ha. Now that I'm having the diff issues, the lift is not even on my mind right now... However, we do have a 91 F-350 sitting in our yard collecting rust. So I'm kind of toying with the idea of doing a front and rear axle swap with that... I know it wouldn't be easy, or quick. But my parents have enough vehicles I can drive that it wouldn't matter if my truck was down for a month or two. Anyone know much about axle swaps? Any info or links you can dig up would be fantastic!!

^^ I've run the thought through my head a few times, so yes that's what I'm getting at. I would have to check them out and see what shape they were in, but last time I drove it it seemed fine and was turning some swather tires. So I don't think there are any issues with them. ha ha.

If you do that swap to that new of a truck you need your head examined.

Ha ha, I think it would be a fun project. Plus, the truck has 275000 kilometers on it already. So I figure why not? When I get a new vehicle this ones going to be a trail truck project anyways, so it will need an axle swap no matter what. But, my dad talked to a local mechanic, and he figures it just the pinion bearing. He said he should be able to do it for 800. So its getting picked up today to get taken to his shop, I guess we'll see what happens.
