Cold air intake

    just bough a cold air intake well of crouse its snowing here so i dont wanna put it on out in the snow but i will anyways its a spectre they say its the same as a K and N and im for sure not dropping the extra 100 bucks just to find out there isnt any diffence

    They all serve the same purpose, the only difference is the quality. The K & N filter that comes with their CAI kit is most likely top notch and the biggest difference between the two kits. The extra 100.00 may be the fact that the K&N comes with a heat shield or a box. Other then that, I wouldn't be too concerned. :birgits_tiredcoffee

    I've had my AirAid since 2005 and the filter is the same one that came with my kit. Invest in a K&N Filter Cleaner Kit.

    I had a cold air intake and a tb spacer when I was running them the truck seemed to run doggy... was told that you couldnt run tb spacers got no reason why tho any one know??

    because a tb spacer is a paper weight. It serves no purpose on modern engines.
