I personally love the console floor shifter. Its like he said, its a cool look and its something different. I wish i could help, but I can't. But surely we have people on this site with a 09 truck.
Well thanks for the support I'll definitely keep y'all up to date I'll have to figure out all the picture stuff. Anybody know where the heck I could get just the shifter assembly itself I can't seem to find it anywhere. If I could find that I would be set I have found a blk/silver 2011 console but no shifter out of the a 2010 raptor which is great for 140$ local too but I don want it if I can't find the shifter assembly.
Thanks for the idea i have done some looking on there but i've only found the 04-08 style mostly without the shifter as well. I read on another post from a while back someone bought on for like an 05 or something for like 188$ from the dealer or some where like that. I have checked a couple of ford parts site's so far no bueno but only been a couple days since i started my search. Anyone got any other ideas on where to look feel free to throw the sites on here or PM me whichever. Thanks again WhiteFiddy
try TascaParts.com best ford dealer for parts in the nation, and they competitively price match. they can hook you up w/ anything you need, and at great costs. other option is to watch the wrecker yards for some idiot that totalled his new truck. you can get parts from that one but i'm sure you're lookin into that one already. I actually almost did a conversion on my 06 but just didnt want to go through all the trouble just for a small change. and i have come to enjoy that extra spot in front of the console as its come in handy on long road trips as an extra area to stretch out and move about in the truck. best of luck on your swap!
Yeah Tascaparts is awesome thats the site that kinda helped me determine which part i may need. Only thing is for the shift lever theres NODDA, i guess i need to just e-mail them and see what they can do. They have the floor shifter cables and console brakets i need, and i think they have the two side peices on either side of my stereo that i will have to replace. But atleast the don't show to have the actual shifter itself. But im still waiting patiently and looking diligently. I have a lot of down time in my office during the day so im constantly watching stuff, probobly a little over obsessive. lol But hey its what i do, its always something.
Okay a little update, i have FINALLY found a guy on F150online.com named Memo05, that has done this very conversion if your looking for a link heres one. This is on the 09+ trucks. Wow just got off the phone with the dealer since i haven't been able to find the gear shift assembly so i was just pricing it so i know where im standing, they want 386.38 or so for it. Thats Sam packs five star ford in Carrolton Tx, just to the Northside of Dallas I think this will end up a Fall/Winter search and seige for parts, and then maybe by spring time ill have everything collected. That should help the pocket book a little doing that way as well.
Finally a bit of good news i called Bob Utter Genuine Ford Parts store online, and they did have the complete gear shifter assembly for $217.35 raptor shifter in charcoal, which is perfect cause im planning to buy the 10-11 raptor silver/charcoal console i found for $140.00 totalling me in at $357.35 for the brand new shifter and a lightly used console from a raptor.appears to be identical to the Lariet after some picture varifications. So ill have my Console this month and maybe my shifter next month ill try can buy my cables and wires, and column cover inbetween. Thanks for the Tascaparts site that really helped. Oh and does anyone own one that can show me just a picture of there installed center console or even explain to me what the little square cut out is for infront of the cup holders? UPDATE: Just purchased the 10-11 Console charcoal/silver will pick it up Tuesday.
