coolant smell when heater is turned on.

    I have a been through two heater cores in one year very costly and now I have steam once again very little this time but their never the less coming out the vents and I still have heat I just don't understand how come the first one could last 14 years before it went out but this is the third one now in less then three years, and it's being done by the ford dealer who is a joke because they don't back there work I had to pay over a thousand dollars each time someone HELP

    holy cow. what parts did ford use and why wouldn't they put a warranty on their work/parts?

    I would bite the bullet and do it yourself man. this install isn't really something I would call a dealer for. the part is only $45, install isn't all that bad, just time consuming.
