My dad and I got to talkin today. I am looking for pics of you body mounts at the back of the cab. I am curious if they utilize the same mounts as my truck.

We may have a cool project in the works but need to get all my ducks in a row first.

I also need to have someone take some measurements for me. Here is where I measured from. I need someone to do the same for me...

I also need some pics of the body mounts at the frame in the back.

I am thinking about stretching the frame and keeping my 6.5' bed and adding a crew cab. Everytime I think about selling my truck it just bugs me. LOL SO instead of selling for a crew cab why not just make one. I think we have the logistics of it figured out, just need to see how much I am going to have to stretch the frame....:peace:

If you're going to those extremes. Get a SCrew, and cut it at the front clip, and at the back of the cab. Do the same to your SCab, and weld in the SCrew section to the frame. Bout the easiest way IMO if the two dont line up. Which i doubt they will.

Thats why i need pics. I can make it happen, with the tools I have, just need to get some measurements and check out to see if their mounts on the frame are the same as ours. If they are then this becomes an "easy" jobe! LOL

I did get a text on cab length. You alls cab is only 11" longer than mine. I know they utilize the same frame, just curious about the cab mounting points.

May have found a doner truck. It is at an auction house here in STL. It has been wrecked in the front, but the cab and interior are in great shape.
