Didn't mean to burst your bubble that was not gonna work bro. Thats a engine for a Front Loader CAT. You'd have to mount that SOB in your bed and make your truck a mid-engine vehicle. lol. WAY too much work. I've seen 4bt coupled to Ford manual trans before. and this is what the engine looked like when it was on the Komatsu:

that 12V is not the same 12V that this one is. # of Valves doesn't equal same engine. My buddy has the 5.9 12V but its not as big as that 5.9 CAT 6bt.
i've considered droppin a diesel in my truck but i think it would be alot easier and save me alot of heart ache if i just go buy a diesel truck
which like i said, makes it 2 different engines. the block might be the same, but the difference in configuration is what makes those 2 engines totally different, and therefore not applicable to the same uses as one another.
