It does look a little cheesy with the halos and being amber. I was thinking with white switchbacks and white leds it would look a lot better?
Thought about it. I'll probably just order a kit of amber and do two strips on each side for turn signals only. No extra running lights. Just halos and switchbacks sent from my igloo
Ordered these. I'm going to drill out the back of the housing above the turn signal so just the leds stick through, then hot glue the board to the back of the housing. Fugg you guys Amazon.com: Zitrades Orange 9 LED Strip NEON MOTORCYCLE / CAR / BOAT / HOME / POD LIGHT BRIGHT ACCENT GLOW 9LED FLEXIBLE WATER PROOF, Aquarium Light Under Water Proof Tank: Automotive
If that flexible material is like the strips (looks very similar) of what I ordered it doesn't hold up to UV light (sun rot) very well. 2 years later it is brittle, turned white and the fine wires inside the flexible material separated leaving 3-4 of the led's in the strip not working.
The strip itself will be hidden behind the housing. I'm going to drill 9 little holes for the bulbs to show through and have them wired to only the turn signal. Hopefully they won't have any UV damage that way.
Sounds a bit odd but it will certainly be different. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out Sent from my SCH-R760 using Tapatalk 2
