ohhh I forgot they changed the transfer case. The front driveshaft output can't be a slip yoke, otherwise you have to replace the whole transfer case.
sorry dude it just popped in my head, but better I tell ya now instead of telling you later when your in the middle of the swap.
yea no kiddin. those axles go for bout $2k. i just love my truck and dont want to get rid of it is all. first new vehicle i bought and all. i'll see if i can talk the misses into takin it off my hands and we just become a 2 truck family. remove my suspension lift and keep the body lift on, then she can run a nice street tire in a 305/50 series. oh well, was a nice dream while it lasted.
and im sure you could find a scrappy 250 thats a POS 4x4 and buy it and save the axles and scrape the rest and make some cash back.... then ull have the front and rear matching from the same truck.
thought so. so he would need a transfer case anyway...and a new driveshaft....so he could do just about anything in there...so the 60 would mock up real good, then youd get a sweet t-case...and it would be a BA system!!!
