Wow, that looks really good. If i was sure i'd have this truck alot longer i'd get a spindle lift, that looks sharp
thanks man. ive put A LOT of work into her. shes in the shop right now for replacing my drivers side upper ball joint and wheel bearings.
i had to have my bearings replaced over the summer. Mines got more money in her than she should ever have put in haha. Its a running joke on my street actually. Not that i've done a TON of stuff but for a work truck we paid $4,500 for in '05, its been quite accessorised
then keep it. im sure it will be better off in the long run. im keeping mine. ive got it to where it looks beautiful, runs great, sits great and she never fails on me. my .02. keep it till you can upgrade. like me. im keeping mine till id be able to afford a 6.2 fully loaded raptor or harley or KR. until then...i might get a DD (cheapie civic) just for gas mileage. back on topic lol have you already put in the leveling kit?
O yea, i've had the levelin kit in since like sept. of '09. The reason i started the thread was that they were sayin after a year or so it'd compress, so...i've been kinda wondering if/when it will haha
Its not easy to tell its got the kit on it just from a look, but if i could sit it before, beside it now after, your like, DANG! It looks alot better, still 2wd, but not as pathetic lol. I was always the one guy out of the bunch without a 4X4 so i had to do what i could to fit her in the clan haha
I saw the plastic spacer and couldnt imagine id be good for me, i like to jump my truck...so i kept looking. found a metal spacer that was solid, ran that for a while. till i saved up for spindles and a lift spring. then took out the spacer, sold it to a buddy and now im happy i did it. I was the same way. in my church groupie of guys my age, i had the biggest, but 2wd. others had cherokee 4x's and a 89 isuzu trooper 4x, some wranglers. then a guy with a classic cherokee got a 2wd dodge 1500.. ive had mine the longest and have done the most to it haha
Sweet, thats the kinda leveling kit i'm gettin for my Dodge. And yea lol, it was always me, in the 2wd, then the other guys had a Dodge 1500 4X4 with the offroad package, mud tires, and all the others had 4X4 Fords lol, mine did ok though, for the very very little bit of offroading mine did, it didn't get stuck but maybe...4 or 5 times HAHA. Been pulled out by a wrecker, front end loader, John Deere, buddies Dodge, and a fork lift actually
