Bought a new high torque starter for the 7.3 last June from DB Electrical, spins over very fast even in cold weather mornings. For $110, no core charge, including shipping, 1 year's warranty and a local TN source, so far it's been a good unit. I see the price has gone up since last June to $125.80 total with shipping included of $18 now. A local auto parts chain store has a rebuilt, 1 year warranty, standard torque starter for $149 + tax and a $35.00 core charge. Anyone have horror stories from DB Electrical at 5359 Kingsport Highway Gray, TN 37615 ?
