So, before vacation the rab died. Tried to start it, nothing but a clicking sound. Well, come back buy a new battery since the old one was toast anyways.. Needsless to say after a $200 Optima Red top, all it does is click once. We tried to jump it off the solenoid on the firewall, and its not doin a dam thing. You think it could be that solenoid itself?

Then on a sidenote. The infamous "rattle" that the rab has been giving off forever, the scab is now doing it. Sounds like a metal rattling against something, im thinking heat shields, or my cats (if possible) are falling apart on the insides. Any thoughts on this?

Alright, guess i'll be making a run in the morning then. Cant start on the scabs front end till this is all straightened out.

Its not constant rattle that im hearing, but i've been thinking the heat shield aswell.

That rattle could be from one of the pre cats going bad. I know mine had a slight rattle every now and then which turned into a constant rattle that eventually lead to me replacing a fugged up pre cat.
