    I tried it though, Just sold that there jetta I bought not too long ago.. Just needed my truck for work too much. And I hate cars.

    the v10 block is identical to the 5.4 block, bore and stroke is the same just two more cylinders. So you can calculate 25% more fuel consumption to compensate for the other two cylinders. With added parasitic weight in the rotating assembly I would say a solid 30% more fuel consumption than a 5.4 with both trucks in stock trim. With the right gears and tune you should be able to get at least 12-14 MPG lol
