my dad used to make biodiesel for his old 97 powerstroke out of used cooking oil from a mexican food place. i think it's one part gasoline, 2 parts kerosene, and 1 part cooking oil. it actually smelled like you were in a kitchen
Great story, we have a place called Bunge Oils here in Chattanooga. They reprocess used cooking oil some which goes toward biodiesel. Another company called BHT (Birmingham Hide and Tallow) is less than 1/2 mile from our home. They collect used oil from area restaurants and fill a semi tanker truck once a week and take that to Bunge Oils. I repaired the CMP wiring on their smaller International tank truck one day.
that might actually be a good idea...right now diesel prices here are not lower than $4.00.....that aint good
