The turbo that i pulled off was a reman.. so theres no telling what all this truck has been through with the previous owner, once we tear into it more theres no telling what all we will find. Im just curious to see if the previous owner had already put the studs and stuff in it...

 

you can check studs with out tearing into anything. check and see if its got the updated oil drain.. thats not something most would do.

 

Dang...you're going to have so much more power with a good turbo than with that piece of shat

 

Lets hope so, im going to replace alot of stuff. I had to go take out a loan just to fix the dang truck lol

 

Geez, you suck up a small car or something in that turbo? New one should make a big difference

 

I dont think it was from me... the previous owner obviously did not take care of the truck! That turbo is a reman so they have had to replace the stock one with it so who knows what its been through! LoL I hope so im going to get it the end of this week hopefully!

 

gotcha, that sucks. I hate finding things on my truck that the preious owner neglected or just didnt care about and makes me spend more money. Its just frustrating cause i take great care of my vehicles, and it looks like you do too. and then someone before us just really didnt give a shat about some things. I know ive said this before but mad respect for you for working on your own truck, looks like you got your hands full right now dealing with all this stuff. hopefully it comes together good for ya!

 

Yes it makes me mad too, but once i get everything fixed it should run great! Thank you, i try to do all the work on my vehicles plus my boyfriend is a diesel mechanic so that helps if i get to a point i need help lol! I just dont trust taking them to other people to work on them, i had a 2006 mustang gt and it was still under warranty so i let them do it since it was and oh man was that a mistake i swear they didnt even change the oil or anything i was sooooo ticked off i let one guy have it in front of god and everybody i mean they were even suppost to replace my wipers (had a coupon in my warranty book) they pulled the car out said its ready to go ... so i go out and look at the wipers and it was the same ones it had on it with the rubber piece still haning off... ever since then i have refused to take them back to a dealer!! My mustang i have now is a 2011 and its NEVER been back to the dealer and has a warranty, i just dont trust them!!

 

New PowerMax Turbo and SCT SF3 i picked up today from Swamps Diesel, also new injectors (not pictured).. Should have it back up and running shortly!! Its not fun not having my truck to drive
