Ok guys I noticed the other day that I had about an inch of play in my driveshaft. Decided I needed to replace both rear pinion bearings and races. I started to take apart the diff when I noticed that the bearing were so bad that it caused the lock pin bolt to break in half. Now I can't get the lock pin out. If I cant get the lock pin out looks like a new rear end for me. What are some suggestions ya'll have? never had to replace a rear end. Not even sure where to start looking for one or if there are any upgrades yall recommend.

Can you drill into the pin and use an extractor
    bit to get it out?

I think when the bolt that holds it broke that it left some in there and there is not enought room to get a extractor down that hole to get the piece out.
