    those are the transmissions. the 4.6l has the 4R70 and the 5.4l has the 4R75

    Screwgreen, I drove it today and @ 70 mph it's runnin bout 1900 RPM

    from the best i can tell, you have 3.73's. But im not 100% sure

    that's what i would guess. most shops throw lift kits and 35's on and don't even think about regearing

    I think 4:10 gears or 4:11 which ever fits his axle would be all he needs. With that power house under the hood and if he gets a tuner that would be all you need. Even without a tuner those 4:10s would make a big difference.
