Don't hate me but need info

    I have a 92 ranger in fantastic shape for an ohio truck. But like most AOD transmissions it's causing problems. My idea is to completely swap the drive train to a Chevy 4.3 vortec. ( I have an engine, a 4l60e transmission, and a 243 positrac rearend all with only 1700 mi on it. It's out of a 94 s10 ss) I'm curious to know if anyone else has done this and what kind of modifications are needed. Please don't hate me for this idea.

    You probably won't find much info on that kind of swap here. I've read tons of 302 swaps into rangers on the ranger forums though. That might be your first step. GM to ford, not a common swap ha ha

    Thankyou for responding. I know it's not common, the only reason I thought of this is because I have the GM stuff with no purpose currently
