finnaly finished my brake overhaul. 4 new FENCO (remanufactured motorcraft) calipers, EBC Ultimax rotors and wagner pads all the way around.

took a nice chunk of money though...$800+

also decided to paint my calipers red. the second these remanufactured calipers hit water they start to turn a rust color.

picture of the front calipers, i have to paint the rears still but its way too humid to paint right now.

also got a question about painting badges. did you guys rough the badges up with some fine grit sand paper before you painted them? i dont think the paint will stick to the surface of the badges very well. just curious. looking to paint them red.

thanks for the info and input!:peace:

thanks guys! gotta respray the calipers a little. the humidity here has been terrible. i wanted to spray them while i was putting the rotors on and i think it was like 60% humidity. figured i could use a heatgun to help dry them. that worked somewhat lol.

Looks killer :peace: How much of a difference do they make?

I scuffed my badges up with some 200, then 400grit. Seems to have worked pretty good so far.

thanks man. theyre great. i havent really tried out with hard braking, you gotta take it easy on new rotors for a few hundred miles to break them in. but so far a bigggg improvement and best of all, no nasty scraping or squealing lol.

alright ill give it a shot with some sandpaper next weekend. i gotta go get some primer and regular paint. did you put clear coat over it too?
