They bought an XLT Ecoboost and a Raptor I think and then just swapped motors iirc. The build thread was on Pirate and DR I believe. Rest would probably be from what they would charge for the bumpers, graphics, lights, etc
^^ I'm sure it's in engine swap and accessories. Was there any mention of mods to the EcoBoost or is it stock? I've yet to watch it as I've been on the road all day. Add the engine swap, and all the tidbits that needed, the lights, the upgraded front bumper, I can see 80K. Thing is, why not buy a 6.2 and throw a SC or a Turbo on it? I'm guessing you may even come out cheaper in the end. Don't get me wrong, I love the EcoBoost, and it WILL be my next truck's powerplant, I'm just saying... Sent from my iPhone4 using Tapatalk
well you know when you spend $80,000 on the truck, the $1300/year you save on gas is sorta pointless...
Bama, from what i've read the 6.2's are the boost friendly motors. I tihnk the heads are the weak links. The boost just melts them.
VelcoiRaptor 800 Twin Turbo Upgrade | 2010 - 2012 6.2L F-150 Raptor | Hennessey Performance No price, but I bet it's less than $40k+Raptor..
