    Friends from racing just got their brand new 2011 F150 XLT EcoBoost Scab this past Friday. Lucky for me they let me take it out for a test drive :birgits_tiredcoffee Let me tell you...that thing has BALLS! Once those turbos kick in it throws you back in your seat. I was cruising at 30 and punched it, 6 speed tranny downshifted and chirped the tires :peace: I was very impressed at it, a sweet truck overall. Probably the coolest thing was that when you turn the key on, the screen in the center of the dash has this animation that says "Built Ford Tough" :peace:

    I would consider one if I were getting a new truck. Petersons 4wheel and off road magazine is doing a EcoBoost ultament adventure truck for this year and so far the build has been bad ass.

    I just want to do a motor swap. You think it be the same? I can't part with the 04-08 body style.

    I'm just curious cause I don't think they changed the frames but in the rear. So I wonder If the motor mounts would be in the same spot.

    I would figure that they should be. They didn't do any major redesigning to the truck. I may have to take a trip to the dealership and crawl up under one. Got me wondering now.
