This engine looks pretty sweet. I cant wait for the other vids to come out. This is about the only v6 that I would ever want in a new truck
I hadn't seen the nascar one this engine is lookin all kinds of badass. I have to agree though I'd give it a year or two to work out the bugs. Of course i might not be sayin that if i already had the money for a brand new rig.
Yeah, that's true. I'd be hard pressed to not buy one right now if I was in the market for a new truck! It's easy to say when you know don't have any plans for a new truck in the coming year.
i said the same thing, i've been interested in this motor since they started talking about, now i gotta have it, haha, one thing though, just my own opinion, but i'd want to be to hear the turbo spool up and blow off, like a diesel turbo
i have done this repeatedly in the nite...and it has over 218000 miles on it...goes to show you what you can do with a good ford engine and a 5.0 with the right gears....go ford!!
My father in law is the new car manager at his dealership and he said theses are testing amazingly and should be a great motor. He is really excited about them and he doesn't get excited about much of anything, so they must be doing something right.
Just you wait. The aftermarket will take care of that for sure! I wish I could get one... but I have to keep the FX4 for a few years yet. I might be able to talk the wife into letting me trade up in 3 years or so.
From what Flex Red told me Ford is going to crack down on modifying the new EcoBoost. They've been training their techs to spot tampering and will be voiding warranties on the spot! I'm sure the aftermarket will juice this motor up, but it may take a while for the average Joe Truck Owner to do any mods to this motor until their warranty is up.
