A guy I work with just bought a new f150 screw ecoboost. Has 1k miles on it and it stays in the shop for transmission trouble. Anyone heard of this being a problem

I've read a few people getting a bad egg. But i think its just luck of the draw. How bad does he beat the truck? My dad hasnt had any issues, and he just went over the 1k point. And we're takin it on a road trip this week. So i guess we'll find out.

Dang thats sux. Maybe a 1 in a 1000 odds of it happening. Guy building it could have got behind and slapped it together. Either way warranty will cover it wont it?

He babies the truck. They told him that it has been an issue and that it would resolve itself after 3500 miles. They have reflashed it three times. Still not acting right. Just was curious if anyone else had heard of this

Kinda hard to fix itself if its not really driveable lol. I know F150Forum had a guy or two with crazy electrical demons.

I heard that if you baby the new trucks a lot, the computer learns that behavior. And then if you get on it, the computer freaks out. heard about a couple guys on F150online with trans problems cuz of that
