Edge Evo on lvl 3

Ive never had it on lvl 3. I leave it on lvl 2 for the extra towing power and to correct the tire size. Im fixin to leave out on a 330 mile one way trip towin the zuk. Just curious if i used lvl 3 if i would hurt anything since im towin. Just thinkin a lil extra power might help. I run 93 octane in the truck so i know im not gonna have to worry about that. Just would like to hear some thoughts on it.

 

2 will be fine.

 

ya level 3 is extreme for racing. level 2 is for towing and more low end tq, run that.

 

what these guys said, level 2 will perform the best in your situation

 

kinda what i was thinkin it was for.

isnt lvl 3 just all out haul ass mode. (not haulin a rig lol)

 

im on level 3 now, i use it to go from school 4 hours back home and i get a little better mileage. and yes it hauls ass lol

Its really not that much of a difference (at least I never noticed it when I had the Edge previously). Its a performance tune for higher octane, no biggie. I run a custom performance tune at all times except when towing.

 

I ran my custom perf 91 (no 93 up here) all summer. You'll notice a difference from level 2 for sure, but don't really see it hurting anything if you're towing.

 

Yea but he won't have the torque on lvl 3 like he would in lvl 2.
