edge evolution question

looked for a bit cause I thought someone else had this problem but couldn't find it.

a few weeks ago I drained my battery (my fault) and had to jump it. tonight I tried to reprogram it and after I put the new program in and hit done it says that the programmer belongs to another vehicle and will not program. I even tried returning it to stock and got the same message. anyone know what to do besides paying edge to reset it?

 

my old battery died multiple times, i never had that trouble. did you try to call edge and ask them wtf is going on? they ahve pretty good customer service.

i wonder if hooking it up to the computer would do anything. you try that?

 

no it's cold and I am pissed off so I just left it alone for tonight before I break something. it's been reading fine and that's what is weird.

 

I think edge has a fix for it I've heard of this problem on other forums

yeah call Edge, Ive messed mine up plenty of times, called them and they helped me fix it quickly, one time they even sent me another programmer to force the stock tune back onto the PCM, once that was done they sent me a new Edge Evo and I sent them the old, super nice cust service.
