im starting to think its a manifold leak..i was think what if i threw like baking soda or something on the manifolds and if there was a leak it would become a cloud or something..because its really hard to see those manifolds

Yep but to save money tighten up your bolts and see if that fixes it.

okay now if they are bad should i get headers or manifolds?

also another quick question, sometimes if i start my truck it will make a rattle/clunk of some sort, but its not the engine. and if i get under my truck and kick the exhaust up and down i can hear the noise best on drivers side near the cats/manifold

Long tube headers if you just want add a few more ponies or just change the gasket unless the manifold is bad. But I personally would go with headers since I'll have to remove the manifolds anyways.
Might have a lose exhaust system or a lose heat shield.

Probably just the body of the truck it's self. When you start a engine it kicks and the hole truck will move a little bit My truck creaks when it's cold but it's the interior

ive got a stripped exhaust manifold bolt so mine ticks too. But honestly it could be a spark plug about to blow out..they tock a bit first, it would be a good idea to torque them down to spec

^^^VERY TRUE!!! I had a tick that sounded just like an exhaust leak. I took a mechanics stethascope and probed all over the engine but couldnt pinpoint the tick. One night I was headed to mu aunts house, and BOOM, then skip... Blew the plug out of the head, broke the COP and damn near made me shat my pants...:jester:
