Scoured the web for the last couple days and have come up with zero definitive answers, hopefully someone here has dealt with this before and can help out. I have a 94 302 with an E40shit connected to it. Just bought a donor 88 4.9 truck with a 1990 zf 5 speed in it to replace my E40d with. I know the flywheels between the 302 and the 300 are not the same, i'm going to buy the new flywheel, slave, clutch kit, clutch master cylinder. But i really need to know if the engine plate on the back of the 300 will fit the 302?? I know the bolt pattern will line up both being the windsor bell pattern, but i'm not sure if the plate is different?? Any help is much appreciated!
