If I can help him out I will, but I don't have much for him as he is going with a different blower setup...

I may have a set of twin 255's you could get as I am adding another 35 gallon fuel tank to my truck and will probably go with an external pusher pump in place of the lightning pumps I have.

Doc you have way more time and patience than I got. Nice work. So is it true that these engines are any harder to tear apart than anything else?

Tearing them apart is a breeze! LOL Putting them back together is the PITA. Tight ass tolerances make it a VERY particular motor to put back together right.

Trust me when I tell you, you will need twin 255's. A single 255 will be at its absolute MAX with 42# injectors and if you ever upgrade (hehe) your injectors to say an 80# even the twins will be pushing it then. That is why I am going to upgrade to an external pump...

Oh and to give you an idea how many times I have done this...I pulled this motor from running to on the engine stand in 1 hour and 33 minutes...and that included having to fix the comealong cause we bent the damn bolt that held the spool and had to set the motor back in the compartment.

Stock cams will be fine for anything I can throw at it. Too much more HP and I will be snapping front driveshafts on launch. :peace:
