    I think the 305 65 17s is the way he wants to go. With the pictures we've seen it seems the 3/2 lift with the 305 65 17s with what looks like the -12 offset is the look he wants. He likes the wide stance with tires hanging out just a bit.

    lol the only thing I would change would be a full replacement bumper and use four 50" bars along the roof rack :jawdrop:

    man you gotta tell him to step up to 18" rims at least. they will offer a better ride opposed to the 17 and you get a better aray of tire sizes for an 18" rim

    I tried. Most of the pics have 17s and that's the look he wants. It's tough to change an old mans mind. Tires are cheaper for 18s too.

    Better ride with a 18 over 17? If you're running the same overall tire like 35s on 17s or 35s on 18s the 17s will give a better ride. More cushion from the rubber.


    Of stick with 17s, I love big tire small rim combo, that's why I love my 35s on 16s
